The immediate thing that comes to mind is if the shared network folder is in fact a DFS replicated share (eg the same data is replicated across multiple servers, and different users connect to different copies), then some users if they are directed to a different copy may see a delay before they see the files you've added, since it takes a while for the new data to be replicated to the other locations.

When you say users can't see the files for a while, do you mean if they navigate to that folder immediately after you've saved the files there they can't see them, or do you mean that if they're in that folder already it takes a while before they see the files have been added? Presumably you've tried refreshing the display, eg pressing f5?

Thank you for your reply and here are answers to your questions: We only have the one server which is our domain controller and our file server so the workstations are not connected to/through any other servers. The problem is the same either way no matter is the user in the target folder or if they navigate to the folder after the transfer has been done. The files are very small (like 0-5 Mb max) so the wait time should be in seconds before they should appear in the target folder. Refreshing doesn’t help.
