Any cool ideas? • I bought a 'certified used' Honda from a honda dealership in North Carolina. They gave me a slip of paper that says 30 day temporary marker receipt and a paper tag. I paid for the tax and tag so I assume they are handling this.
But do I need to pay them a visit to pick up my tag? How does this work.
It wasn't explained well. Any advice is appreciated. I haven't calle them yet because I want to be a bit more educated so I don't sound stupid when I call. • I have a Honda Passport 1998, and I replace the alternator for it. I did check the new one and the old one, they are just the same. The problem is when I install new one, it hard to get in to the bracket even I try to wiggle and hammer it by wooden block.
Brand new license plate mounting kit. It is made of high quality CNC machine T6061 aluminum.
Should I grind the new alternator? Or is there any good solution for it?
This bracket is built by the same manufacturer who built your car. This is a genuine part. The Curvature, Shape, and fit will be exact, this is not a generic one size fits all bracket. If you'll notice in the pictures, this bracket is formed to fit the exact curvature of the bumper.
Customers are reporting a install time of about 30 minutes. You will notice that this bracket does not come with any hardware. For some strange reason Honda / Acura does not include any hardware with their license plate brackets.
With this being said you can go about this two different ways. The first way is you can just go down to your local hardware store and get some self tapping screws and drill some pilot holes in your bumper and install this directly to the bumper using the screws. This is the way that most people do it and is the most simple and most affordable way. The second way to do it is to do it Honda's way. You can go to a Honda dealership and purchase the hardware you need. Obrazec zapolneniya migracionnoj karti v shri lanku.
The problem with this is that Honda sells each screw, nut, bolt and clip separately. Usually when doing it this way hardware will cost much more than the bracket itself does. We recommend you do it the first way is it is much easier and cost effective. The Original Problem: After a few years of wear and tear, and climate changes the part to begins to break down structurally. Heat is one of the main factors of automotive issues. As you may notice, automotive problems seem to be more common in the summer months or in warmer climates.
