I am not sure how long it will last. As this method has been around for a while. For starters you will need to buy the game of off Amazon. Steam DRM You can find other versions like the bundles but i think they recently sold out. Once you have bought and activated the code on your steam account.

Then you can buy the DLC. As far as i know this is the only way you can still get the DLC.

Luckily i have backups. Though not of this content. It is weird you say it doesn't work. As you cant even buy the DLC without the steam version. Before i was using a friends steam account and playing. Though i had no access to the dlc. I will look into it some more.

EDIT: Quick question Haddock. Did you redeem the steam codes ingame while signed in? Or did you assume they will work straight away? Well currently i am having trouble with my GFWL Marketplace. Wont install or even download my purchases.

Might be worth a try. Ok the GFWL servers were down all January, meaning nothing was downloading or installing. It is now working again so everything is fine. Haddock you have to put the DLC codes into xbox.com then install the DLC with the GFWL Marketplace. Even though steam says it is installed it actually isnt.Unfortunately, all my codes appear to be steam codes, not GFWL.so I'm out of luck. Even the game itself is a steam code, but it works no prob w/ GFWL.If you click show game keys (can't remember where that is mind) it should show your license key (which will be different to your product keys) and this should be able to go into xbox.com. At least from memory that's how its done.
